The journey for young people to adulthood is admittedly challenging. The story of Jesus as a boy “escaping his parents” to enter the Temple to hear and teach the word is at the center of this program, The Journey to Adulthood program is a comprehensive approach for young people to join with adults other than their parents to take on the serious work of becoming adults of faith. Young Episcopalians in Service: YES is a mentor-based program helps older teens (8th – 12th grades) to discern and carry out a ministry within their church or in the larger community. Vocation and development of a personal credo are also emphasized.
This is an annual event at St. Anne's for all those seeking hospitality and fellowship on Thanksgiving Day. Dinner is served between 12:00PM and 3:00PM in the Town Church, Great Hall.
The second Tuesday each month, bags filled with food are distributed between 5:30PM to 6:30PM. Anyone may come to the side entrance on Cox Street of the Town Church to pick up a bag of food.
Volunteers of the St. Anne's Men's Group and the SAEC Group serve meals at ODB on the third and fourth Fridays each month beginning at 11:00AM at 214 N. Broad Street, Middletown.
